The residents here are mostly English speaking with strong Irish Newfoundland accents.  Goulds is known for its good agricultural land but also offers a variety of shopping and dining.  Including Keith’s Diner, a small family-owned eatery offering some of the best local seafood options.  A short distance away you will find Petty Harbour–Maddox Cove, with a beautiful drive along the ocean’s edge. Fun Fact:  Gould’s  is also home to two contestants from Canada’s Worst Driver!  For store details check here.
