On April 1st, 2019, Inner Spirit Holdings Ltd. opens the first Spiritleaf cannabis retail store in Kingston in Eastern Ontario. Operated by Daniel Telio, one of the initial 25 cannabis retail lottery winners in Ontario as selected by the Alcohol & Gaming Commission of Ontario, the first cannabis location opens inside the historic Smith Robinson building at 27 Princess St. in the city’s downtown. The street front, corner location is about 1350 square feet. The 175-year old historic building has previously housed the manufacturing and sale of horse-drawn buggies, pianos and cars. “We are very pleased Daniel is opening the first Spiritleaf store in Ontario in Kingston on the opening day for private cannabis retailers in the province,” said Darren Bondar, President, CEO of Inner Spirit.
