Newfoundland and Labrador cannabis company opening first retail store

ST. JOHN’S, N.L. —
A cannabis company based in Newfoundland and Labrador is getting ready to open its first retail location.
Atlantic Cultivation, a company working toward operating a production facility in St. John’s, is opening its first retail store under the Spiritleaf brand this weekend.
The store, located at 673 Topsail Rd., will be open for business Saturday, with a virtual ribbon cutting taking place Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. According to a news release from the St. John’s Board of Trade, more Spiritleaf stores will open in St. John’s and Central Newfoundland.
