President and CEO Darren Bondar notes one such partnership is with Newstrike Brands Ltd(CVE:HIP) (OTCMKTS:NWKRF) (FRA:0N8), the company with a strategic alliance with the Tragically Hip to distribute the band’s Up Cannabis brand. The deal ensures Up Cannabis-branded customer lounges in Spirit Leaf stores that will also function as education areas highlighting Canadian music and Indigenous reconciliation.
