When one mentions a family-run business, the last kind of business you would expect is a weed dispensary. But when it comes to Guelph’s first legal cannabis retailer, that is exactly the case.
Spiritleaf, in the Edinburgh Market Place plaza on Edinburgh Road South just north of Stone Road, is set to have its grand opening on Wednesday.
The Comisky family – father Steve with his daughter Corin and son Steve – are behind the store, the Alberta-based cannabis retailer’s first franchise in the province.
