The Okanagan’s first licensed marijuana store will open its doors at 9 a.m. Monday.
Spiritleaf in the Anderson Subdivision will open for business on Canada Day and Sarah Ballentyne, who will be operating the store with her husband Carson, said once it was known their store was ready to open, the response was overwhelming.
Canada legalized marijuana in October, 2018, but a long and complicated process meant there was only one store in all of B.C. that could legally sell pot.
