Growing more than a community. Spiritleaf is opening soon in the town of Bonnyville, located in northeastern Alberta. The store can be found on the corner of 50th Avenue and 66th Street, near the Shell and Tim Hortons. This community has a diverse cultural heritage and plenty of natural resources, living up to its nickname multi-natural. Its population is around 10 thousand and offers its residence employment opportunities in construction, oil and gas and retail sales. Surrounded by several beautiful lakes and boreal forest, which is home to a variety of wildlife. Summertime offers adventures such as bird watching, water sports, horse trails and more. In town, there are many attractions including a hand-carved statue of a local fur trader, art galleries and antique stores. The neighbouring district of Glendon is home to the giant perogy, a statue standing almost 8 meters tall in honour of the town’s Ukrainian heritage.
