Spirit Bus Tour at Beltline

June 10th, 2021 – Calgary Beltline Spiritleaf
The Spirit Bus is making its way across Canada with a mission of spreading peace, love and harmony.
In line with this mantra, we saw common parallels to Pride celebrations and will be hosting a Pride lounge at our Beltline location to celebrate the LGBTQ2S+ community.
We have commissioned Blake Macleod of Cinic Studio to create a custom art piece to acknowledge the community and share a message of love. Blake McLeod (they/them) is a Métis nonbinary queer artist living and working in Mohkintsis Alberta. With the means of illustration, graphic design, photo, video, and radio, they strive to build an intimate community for folks to feel free and safe to be who they are.
This art piece will be collaborative and we encourage you to add your own words! Share what love means to you, what Pride means to you.. so we can create a thread of positivity that helps shape the space that Spiritleaf exemplifies – one of safety, inclusivity and comfort to be your true self.
There will be a chance to win and amazing Pride giveaway with custom Spiritleaf Pride apparel as well!
The installation will stay up for the month of June.
The Spirit Bus festivities will also be going strong on June 10th – with free Made By Marcus Scoops, a beautiful window mural completed by Calgary Chalk Artist – Rozzie Lee, custom Spirit Bus Pins and amazing promotions!
